Edward “Skip” Wipson serves as our Chief Operating Officer, and leads the firm’s operational strategy, scaling initiatives, and process optimization efforts across intake, underwriting, and servicing functions. He also guides the firm’s strategic initiatives. Skip brings more than two decades of experience in operations, business transformation, and growth execution across financial services and technology-enabled sectors.
Before joining Mustang, Skip held senior leadership recent roles at several private equity–backed and founder-led businesses, where he built and scaled complex operational infrastructures. He also recently served as President of Raddon, a Fiserv business, where he led a comprehensive operational overhaul that dramatically improved profitability through improved client onboarding, rapid product development and process automation. Prior to Fiserv, he held leadership roles at McKinsey & Company and in investment banking.
Skip holds a BS from the US Air Force Academy and an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
